Memorial Moments with the Mausses

Lucky for us, a friend of ours from church, who happens to be a good friend of Doug’s, got married over Memorial Day weekend and my brother was a groomsmen! I couldn’t have been happier than when I found out Doug was asked to stand beside our friends as they said their vows…this meant…HE HAD TO FLY TO TACOMA!!

So the whole fam decided to come out for the event, which blessed my socks off from here to Timbuktu. Not only is it wonderful to see them, but they would get to meet their new nephew, and Elliott and Fable would get to meet for the first time!

Meeting Uncle Doug for the first time!
Meeting Fable and Aunt Melanie! I love that everyone’s smiling in this picture!!

Fable wanted to be next to him and play with him on his play mat

Um, hilarious…! I don’t think Elliott even noticed 🙂

Wearing Uncuh Bine’s shoes…

We all got dressed up for the wedding!

Aunt and niece 🙂

Do you think we have the same eyes?!?

He slept through his first wedding (outside the womb) and most of the reception

Little stud-muffin

LOVE him…

Look at this face!! I can’t get enough of sweet Fable!! (And she is a spitting image of my nephew Jaxon in this picture!)

So sweet

This is one of my favorite pictures from the weekend. Fable totally looks like a teenager here, doesn’t she?! “Aw, come ON, Mo-om!” Ha!! 🙂

Look at him! One hand behind his head like that! Haha!!

We loved every minute we spent with you guys, most especially that dear Elliott of yours. Thank you so much, as always, for your hospitality and warmth. I so enjoyed getting to talk with you in the mornings, and loved seeing Fable's face light up throughout the week as she talked about "Shoozan," "Unkah Bine" (I don't know why you didn't get a prefix…), and "Bebe." You should know she now points at the picture of you on our wall and talks to you all the time. 🙂 We love you all and can't wait to see you again in the coming months.
